Gameplay
Overview
Learn how FangDash works — controls, mechanics, and tips.
TL;DR - Your wolf runs automatically — you only control jumping - Jump over obstacles; the game speeds up the further you go - Score points for surviving (10/sec) and clearing obstacles (50 each) - Every point = 1 XP toward your level
FangDash is an endless runner. Your wolf runs forward automatically, and your goal is to survive as long as possible while racking up the highest score.
The Basics
| # | Rule |
|---|---|
| 1 | Your wolf runs automatically — you don't control speed |
| 2 | Jump to avoid obstacles — tap or press to jump over barriers |
| 3 | The game gets harder — speed increases and gaps narrow the further you go |
| 4 | Score points — earn points based on time survived and obstacles dodged |
| 5 | Earn XP — every point scored = 1 XP toward your level |
Obstacle Types
You'll encounter 4 obstacle types as you run:
| Obstacle | Notes |
|---|---|
| Rock | Low and wide — easy single jump |
| Log | Medium height — standard timing |
| Bush | Low and fast-approaching |
| Spike | Tall — requires careful timing |
Obstacles are procedurally generated, so every run is different. In multiplayer, all players face the same layout thanks to seeded random generation.
Tips for New Players
