Level System
How XP and levels work in FangDash.
TL;DR - Every point you score = 1 XP - Race bonuses: 1st place = 500 XP, 2nd = 250 XP, 3rd = 100 XP - Levels follow a cubic curve — early levels are fast, later ones take real dedication
FangDash has a level system that tracks your overall progress. The higher your level, the more experienced you are.
How You Earn XP
| Source | XP Earned |
|---|---|
| Score points | 1 XP per point scored |
| 1st place race | 500 bonus XP |
| 2nd place race | 250 bonus XP |
| 3rd place race | 100 bonus XP |
| 4th place race | No bonus XP |
Every point you score in a game — whether solo or multiplayer — counts as 1 XP. Race placements give you a bonus on top of that.
Level Curve
Levels use a cubic formula: totalXpForLevel(n) = 5 × (n - 1)³
Early levels come quickly. Higher levels take significantly more XP.
| Level | Total XP Needed | XP for This Level |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | — |
| 2 | 5 | 5 |
| 3 | 40 | 35 |
| 5 | 320 | 185 |
| 10 | 3,645 | 1,085 |
| 15 | 13,720 | 2,735 |
| 20 | 34,295 | 5,135 |
| 30 | 121,945 | 12,185 |
| 50 | 588,245 | 35,285 |
