Twitch Integration
How FangDash works with Twitch.
TL;DR - Sign in with Twitch — we only access your username and avatar - Streamers can share a room code with chat to race together - Up to 4 players can race at once
FangDash is built for Twitch streamers and their communities. Here's how to use it on stream.
Signing In
FangDash uses Twitch OAuth for authentication. When you sign in, we access:
- Your Twitch username
- Your Twitch avatar
We do not access your followers, subscriptions, or any other Twitch data beyond what is needed for authentication.
Racing Your Chat
As a streamer, create a race room and share the room code with your chat. Viewers join by:
Going to the FangDash website
Signing in with their Twitch account
Entering the room code
Up to 4 players can race at once.
Stream-Friendly Features
- Wolf skins are visible to all players — viewers can show off their unlocks
- Leaderboards update in real-time, great for on-screen overlays
- Race results show player names and scores at the end of each race
Future Plans
We're working on deeper Twitch integration including:
- Chat commands to join races
- Channel point redemptions for race entries
- Twitch Extension panel for one-click join
