Terms of Service for WolfWave

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WolfWave application ("App") provided by MrDemonWolf, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using WolfWave, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using WolfWave, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

WolfWave is a macOS menu bar application that:

  • Monitors Apple Music playback on your device
  • Responds to Twitch chat commands with now-playing information
  • Displays Discord Rich Presence with your current listening activity
  • Streams now-playing data to WebSocket endpoints for stream overlays

The App runs entirely on your device and does not require a subscription or account with MrDemonWolf, Inc.

3. License

WolfWave is provided under the terms of its open-source license as published on our GitHub repository. You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with that license.

4. Third-Party Services

WolfWave integrates with third-party services including Twitch, Discord, and Apple Music. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

You are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party services you connect through WolfWave.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use WolfWave in compliance with all applicable laws
  • Not use the App for any unlawful or abusive purposes
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App beyond what is permitted by the open-source license
  • Maintain the security of your Twitch and Discord credentials
  • Comply with Twitch's and Discord's community guidelines when using bot features

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

WolfWave is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Compatibility with future versions of macOS, Twitch API, or Discord API

Third-party API changes may affect functionality. We make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MrDemonWolf, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data or credentials
  • Interruption of streaming or chat services
  • Twitch or Discord account issues arising from App usage
  • Any damages resulting from third-party service outages

8. Intellectual Property

"WolfWave" and the WolfWave logo are trademarks of MrDemonWolf, Inc. The source code is available under the terms of its open-source license.

9. Termination

You may stop using WolfWave at any time by uninstalling the App. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which MrDemonWolf, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
