Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FangDash ("the Game", "the Service"), operated by MrDemonWolf, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). FangDash is a multiplayer endless runner game accessible at fangdash.mrdemonwolf.workers.dev and related services.

By accessing or using FangDash, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FangDash
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age
If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service
FangDash requires a Twitch account for authentication. Your Twitch account is subject to Twitch's Terms of Service

2. Account Terms

2.1 Account Creation

You must sign in with a valid Twitch account to use FangDash
Your FangDash profile is automatically created using your Twitch username and avatar
One FangDash account per Twitch account

2.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account

2.3 Account Termination

You may stop using FangDash at any time
You may request account deletion by contacting us via Discord
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 You Agree To

Play fairly and respect other players
Report bugs and vulnerabilities responsibly
Follow applicable laws and regulations

3.2 You Agree Not To

Cheat — Use hacks, exploits, automation, bots, scripts, modified clients, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage
Manipulate scores — Falsify, inflate, or otherwise manipulate scores, achievements, leaderboard rankings, or game statistics
Exploit bugs — Intentionally exploit game bugs or glitches for personal gain instead of reporting them
Disrupt the Service — Interfere with or disrupt servers, networks, or other players' experiences, including DDoS attacks, packet flooding, or deliberate server overloading
Reverse engineer — Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by the open-source license)
Harass others — Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse other players through any means
Impersonate — Impersonate another person, player, or entity
Spam — Send unsolicited messages, create multiple accounts, or engage in other spam-like behavior
Illegal activity — Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

4. Game Rules and Fair Play

4.1 Score Validation

All scores are validated server-side using anti-cheat algorithms
Scores that exceed the maximum theoretical rate (based on game physics) are automatically rejected
We reserve the right to review and remove any scores we determine to be illegitimate

4.2 Leaderboards

Leaderboard rankings are determined by validated scores only
We may reset leaderboards periodically or remove individual entries at our discretion
Accounts found to be cheating will have their leaderboard entries removed and may be permanently banned

4.3 Multiplayer Conduct

Race fairly against other players
Intentional disconnects to avoid recording losses may result in penalties
Repeated unsportsmanlike behavior may result in temporary or permanent multiplayer bans

4.4 Skins and Achievements

Wolf skins and achievements are earned exclusively through legitimate gameplay
Attempting to unlock skins or achievements through unauthorized means (hacking, exploiting, account manipulation) will result in account action up to and including permanent ban
We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove skins and achievements at any time

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Property

FangDash, including its name, logo, game design, artwork, animations, sounds, music, and code architecture, is the intellectual property of MrDemonWolf, Inc.
"FangWolf" is a trademark of MrDemonWolf, Inc.
All wolf skin designs, character artwork, and visual assets are owned by MrDemonWolf, Inc.

5.2 Open Source

The FangDash source code is available on GitHub under the project's open-source license
The open-source license applies only to the source code, not to game assets (artwork, sounds, designs) unless explicitly stated

5.3 User Content

Your Twitch username and avatar remain your property (or Twitch's, per their terms)
By using FangDash, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display your username and avatar within the game (leaderboards, multiplayer, profiles)

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data, including our use of Google Analytics, Cloudflare, and Twitch OAuth.

7. Third-Party Services

FangDash uses the following third-party services. Your use of FangDash is also subject to their respective terms:

Twitch — Terms of Service (authentication)
Cloudflare — Terms of Service (hosting and infrastructure)
Google Analytics — Terms of Service (usage analytics)
PartyKit — Terms of Service (multiplayer infrastructure)

We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

FangDash is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any game data, scores, or leaderboard rankings
We are not responsible for any data loss, including but not limited to scores, achievements, skins, or account data
Game features, mechanics, balance, skins, achievements, and other content may change at any time without prior notice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

MrDemonWolf, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Service
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is $0 if you have not made any purchases)
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MrDemonWolf, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third party's rights
Your violation of applicable laws

11. Modifications

11.1 To the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of FangDash at any time, including but not limited to game mechanics, features, skins, achievements, and leaderboards. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of significant changes.

11.2 To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes:

The effective date at the top will be updated
We may notify you via an in-game notice or on our Discord server
Continued use of FangDash after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms

If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration
If you are located in the EEA or United Kingdom, nothing in this section limits your right to bring proceedings in your local courts or deprives you of mandatory consumer protections under applicable law
