Set up a downloadable digital business card (vCard) with personal, professional, and social fields.

vCard

LinkDen lets you create a comprehensive digital business card that visitors can download as a .vcf file. The vCard is compatible with all major contact apps on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.

Setting Up Your vCard

Navigate to /admin/vcard in the admin panel to configure your vCard.

Personal Information

  • First Name and Last Name -- Your full name as it should appear in contacts.
  • Nickname -- An optional alternative name or handle.
  • Birthday -- Optional birthday field.
  • Photo -- Uses your profile image from the appearance settings.

Professional Information

  • Organization -- Your company or organization name.
  • Job Title -- Your role or position.
  • Department -- Optional department within the organization.

Contact Details

  • Email -- One or more email addresses (personal, work).
  • Phone -- One or more phone numbers (mobile, work, home).
  • Website -- Your primary website URL.

Address

  • Street Address -- Full street address.
  • City, State/Province, Postal Code -- Location details.
  • Country -- Country name.

Social Profiles

  • Twitter/X -- Your Twitter/X handle.
  • LinkedIn -- Your LinkedIn profile URL.
  • GitHub -- Your GitHub username.
  • Instagram -- Your Instagram handle.

Additional social profiles can be added as custom fields.

Adding a vCard Block

To add a vCard download button to your public page:

  1. Go to /admin/links.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Select the vCard block type.
  4. Set a title (e.g., "Download My Contact Card").
  5. Optionally select an icon.
  6. Click Save.

Visitors who click this button will download your .vcf file, which they can open to add you to their contacts.

vCard Format

LinkDen generates vCard 3.0 format files, which have the widest compatibility across devices and applications. The generated file includes all fields you have filled in and omits empty fields.
